Business Analyst

Working with IT, systems and organisational structures, the role of a business analyst is to help companies get the most of the resources they have.

A background in business or IT normally lends to this kind of job. Expert knowledge of business, data analysis, human resources and an understanding of how they fit together are skills employers will look for to get the most of the resources they already have.

The job normally requires business analysts to work with different departments and sections of a company. People skills and a diplomatic approach are important to see that projects are completed on time and meet the original specification.
