“If numbers are your thing, this career could be for you.”

If you enjoy finance and figures and want a business orientated career, this could be ideal for you. Accountants can work in private practices where you would normally provide accountancy services for clients and customers. You would handle tax and accounts, carry out audits and advise clients how to improve their business finances.

You could also work for a company where you would look to find ways of improving profits and growth as well as working on taxes and account. If you are interested in finance and business, this could be just what you're looking for.

For both types of accountancy you will need to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You'll need to be able to explain technical financial information clearly - good communication and presentation skills will help.
